Lorena Ochoa: Million Dollar Woman

(N Gottwald/Flickr)

Lorena Ochoa won the ADT Championship on Sunday with an unlikely birdie on the final hole. The two-shot victory over Natalie Gulbis earned the women’s No. 1 golfer a $1 million first prize.

That’s eight wins and more than $4.3 million for Ochoa in 2007, tying her with Annika Sorenstam and Nancy Lopez for most wins in a season and obliterating the money mark set by Sorenstam five years ago.

Welcome to the reign of Lorena.

She and Paula Creamer really make ladies golf worth watching.

I agree...they're both great golfers, and they're nice to look at. In addition to being good golfers, I also enjoy watching Natalie Gulbis, Christie Kerr, Grace Park, Leta Lindley, Laura Diaz, Stacy Prammanasudh, Nicole Castrale...

Even if they happen to be on top of their game, it's still easy to watch them play! ;-)

A golfer said to me 9 out of 10 people know Tiger Woods and 9 out of 10 people don't know who Roger Federer is. I told him find me just 1 on thiis plane who will bet in 2008 Tiger will win more majors than Roger.

I know you're the same moron who keeps posting your stupid Tiger/Roger comments. What does this have to do with Lorena Ochoa, you twit?

Nobody cares about tennis or Roger Federer, and professional tennis is to blame.

Lorena Ochoa and Paula Creamer are certainly leading the LPGA pack at the moment. It is fun to see who wins which tournament! Lorena has had such a remarkable season, too. It sure seems that Annika Sorenstam got much more press when she had her huge winning season, though.
