The biggest danger I've run into, especially when playing older courses where greens and tees are very close to one another, has been wayward golf balls hitting me (3 times) or the golf cart (numerous times). None of these were deliberate but that doesn't make it any less dangerous.

Last year, on the 12th hole, our foursome encounter an alligator next to the green. We`all took pars and moved on to the 13th tee! That afternoon the alligator was relocated.

I've played in a few hard hat situations. Some of the older courses just don't have enough space between tees and greens.

I'm with LifeandGolf. Gators here and there. My husband and I decided that in friendly games we get free drops from Gator Zones!
