It looks like the player is wearing a visor and not a cap. My first thouht was Justin Leanard but he does not wear a visor, ordinarily. I do not think Robert Allenby played in the 2009 Players so I will say Stuart Appleby.

I have no idea why or how, but the name Padraig came to my mind as soon as I saw the picture.
Looks a little like Jimmy Carter, but I don't think he played in '09.
