Golfweek's Beth Ann Nichols reported:
Lorena Ochoa is gearing up to participate in this year’s pro-am at the Lorena Ochoa Invitational in Mexico City. Ochoa, you’ll remember, walked away from the LPGA while ranked No. 1 at age 28 to pursue another lifelong dream: motherhood.
Ochoa said the goal is to compete in her own event in 2015.
“Then maybe after that try a few tournaments in the States,” she said.Ochoa retired in April 2010 and has two children, Pedro, 3, and Julia, 11 months. The former world No. 1 player owns 27 titles, including two majors, and has earned more than $14 million in LPGA prize money.
