Lydia Ko By the Numbers and U.S. Solheim Cup Team

LYDIA KO WON THE CANADIAN Pacific Women's Open this past weekend, her eighth LPGA title and third victory in Canada. Ko feels at home there and is an honorary member of the Vancouver Golf Club, where she has claimed two of her Canadian titles.

"I kind of feel like somewhat Canadian," Ko said, adding about the event, "... every year I have fun."

Yes, winning is fun.

Ward Clayton put together some of Ko's impressive numbers at LPGA.com:

The number of cuts missed by Ko. She is 59 of 60.

The number of Ko's eight wins that came in two events. One of the two
is the Canadian Pacific Women's Open.

April 27, 1997
Ko's birth date, two weeks after Tiger Woods won his first Masters.

The combined age of Ko and Brooke Henderson, the winners
of the last two LPGA events.

Ko's career earnings through 45 LPGA starts. It comes to
$84,276 per tournament. Not bad.
