While Tiger is the best player, I like the style of the other John and Phil.LoneWolfhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15755873906740660932noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17206449.post-88525252671481275622008-12-04T16:53:00.000-05:002008-12-04T16:53:00.000-05:00Thanks, also, to Sherry, Tom and MH for sharing yo...Thanks, also, to Sherry, Tom and MH for sharing your faves. The Armchair Golferhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07086916747302169325noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17206449.post-72243769252635092242008-12-04T16:52:00.000-05:002008-12-04T16:52:00.000-05:00I kept wondering when someone would mention Tiger....I kept wondering when someone would mention Tiger. Some people are perhaps tired of Tiger, Tiger, Tiger. As a kid I used to hate the Yankees because they won all the time and beat my Dodgers.

There is something about Tiger that keeps people rooting for him, however. I don't think those TV rating are high every time he plays (and low when he doesn't) because people tune in to watch him lose.

The way he gives it his all every time is something to watch. To think that he is being considered for player of the year for 2008 playing, what, 5 times? (I do think Harrington deserves it and hope he wins).

All of this doesn't even mention the spectacular things he has done over the past 10 years. He is the most outstanding player ever.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17206449.post-31619954863310216792008-12-02T13:32:00.000-05:002008-12-02T13:32:00.000-05:001. She will inspire of lot of people to play the game or, at least, follow it.

My personal favorite is Paula Creamer as I think she is a tremendous ambassador for today's game. She understands and respects the history of the game and is much-needed role model in the world of professional sports. She has her sights set on becoming the number one player in the world and has the talent and drive to do so. Hopefully we will see a great Lorena/Paula rivalry develop.

Annika will rank as the all-time best in women's golf and will be sorely missed as she steps away from the LPGA Tour. She is also my favorite primarily for what she has done to invigorate and reshape the women's game. She is a class act and even though we may not see her play regularly she will continue to have a tremendous impact on the game of golf.

The next chapter of the LPGA is in the works. Can't wait to see how it all plays out!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
